Billy Eli is back! With his raspy voice, and his rough and melodic country songs he will sometimes reminds you of Steve Earle. "A good song should make the listener feel something. I like songs that makes me feel sad, or makes me wanna drive fast or hang out with my friends and have a beer," says Billy. Billy Eli's first CD Something's Goin On was released in the early 90's. Without any decent distribution it found its way to the fans and is still one of the most asked for country rock CDs in Austin. Billy married in the mid 90's and became father to a pair of twins. He took a break from the music but couldn't stay away from the roadhouses and the honky tonks too long. With a new band he started touring again. In 1999 his song "Hey Maria" was released on the compilation Rockin' At The Barn. Trailer Park Angel has harnessed the energy and the spirit that everyone who have been at a show with Billy Eli and his band will recognize.
