It's lovely music, the one that the masters of Tex-Mex has been playing for decades (Flaco Jimenez, Texas Tornados, etc.) This album features a unique, soulful blend of South Texas music, driven by the combination of the buttom accordion, bajo sexto, march-like snare rolls and infectious polka beats, and East Texas Cajun music.
